Maps
Apple Maps and Google Maps are not helpful for country walks in the UK as they don’t show footpaths. We recommend downloading the Ordnance Survey app (iOS, Android) and purchasing a subscription so you can download maps for offline use, given how poor mobile reception is around here. The Ordnance Survey app shows all footpaths and bridleways literally at a field-by-field level.
