For more upmarket dining there are some great choices: The Sportsman (highly recommended), The Bridge Arms, and The Fordwych Arms all of which have Michelin stars.

The Pig is part of a small national chain of highly designed hotel/restaurants which has a big following. Expensive but good service and excellent food.

For the freshest oysters and other seafood Wheeler’s Oyster Bar is legendary (but need to book ahead).

If you are craving Asian food, Pho Canterbury is delicious.
